    Employment Terms & Conditions

    The terms and conditions of your employment with the company are as follows, effective from the date of joining the company:

  1. Training Period: The first ten working days of the employment will be “Training Days” and a nominal stipend of Rs. 300 will be paid on per day basis.
  2. Probationary Period: You will be on Probation for three month from the date of joining which may be extended, if considered necessary by EduShastra subjected to the display of satisfactory performance. Further the company may at its discretion relieve you from such date as it may deem fit even prior to the expiry of the notice period. However, the company reserves its right to dismiss the employee (whether confirmed or on Probation) immediately without compensation and any previous dues.
  3. Probationary Period: In this period, Salaries will be calculated for working days only. Three Late comings will be counted as one half-day absenteeism.
  4. Confirmation Period: You will be regarded on Probation until company issue a letter of confirmation. After confirmation, your notice period for separation from services of EduShastra, by either side, will be by a written intimation of two months in advance (or two month’s salaries in lieu thereof depending on manager’s discretion). However, the company reserves its right to dismiss the employee (whether confirmed or on probation) immediately without compensation and any previous dues based on Clause-4. Your approved leave will not be adjustable against the notice period. The resignation will be accepted only on your fulfilling the terms of the undertaking given by you during your employment. However, in the event of your resignation, the company in its sole discretion will have an option to accept the same and relieve you prior to completion of the stipulated notice period, without any pay in lieu of the notice period.
  5. Leave Policy: After employee is confirmed, he/she will be entitled to Casual, Earned, Sick, etc Leaves as per Indian Labour Laws.
  6. Non-Contractual Bonus: Company may make bonus/incentives payments to you on your satisfactory performance to targets. You will be advised of the current conditions for payment of your bonus/incentives separately. Our bonus/incentives schemes are non-contractual, and we may review this periodically. All bonus/incentives schemes and payments are made entirely at the discretion of the Directors and may be altered or withdrawn without notice at any time. No bonus/incentives payments are made after the termination of employment or on submission of resignation or after doing the full and final settlements or whatever reason.
  7. Company Property: You will be responsible for the safekeeping and return, in good condition and order of all the properties of the company which may be in your case, custody, care or charge. In the event of loss of property of the company in your possession, the company will have the right to assess on its basis and recover the damages of all such material from you and take such other action as it deems proper in the event of your failure to account for any such material or property towards company’s satisfaction. You need to return the company property immediately in the event of your resignation or within 3 days from the date of your resignation and must appear either in person or a person can be authorized to handover the assets. In the absence of which the company reserves its right to dismiss the employee (whether confirmed or on probation) immediately without any compensation and other adjustments and can initiate appropriate legal action.
  8. Retirement Age: You will automatically retire from the services of the company on attaining the age of 58 years. Your age mentioned in the birth certificate/Matriculation/Higher Secondary Certificate would be deemed to be a conclusive proof of your date of birth.
  9. Notice Period: The notice period for all employees (Trainee, Full-time, Part-time or Hourly-Paid Employees) is 2 months in case of Resignation from service. Applicable notice period shall begin on the date when the concerned employee has given the resignation in writing to the Reporting Manager. All employees are required to serve full notice period or pay in lieu, the salary for the notice period not served. However, the management at its discretion can relieve the employee from the services earlier than the above defined notice period in case s/he has fulfilled all work commitments. Under such circumstances the remaining notice period shall be waived off.
  10. Working Hours: The office timings will be from 9.00 AM to 6:00 PM (Winter Season) and 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM (Summer Season), with one weekly off, this weekly off will be with consent of your manager, understanding the kind of business we are into. However, office timings can be extended. You should be available On-Call during the holidays if work demands and you are expected to work such as are reasonably necessary for the proper performance of your duties. No overtime is payable.
  11. Duties and Obligations: Your duties will be as per discussions during the time of interview. In the addition to this, you may be required to perform other duties as your manager may reasonably require from time to time as per the business needs of the company. The company reserves the right upon reasonable notice to alter or vary your job function or duties in accordance with your capabilities. You agree to follow and comply with internal regulations, guidelines and policies of the company as may be framed due to business exigencies or otherwise. You also accept the obligation to be in the full compliance of all statuary laws and regulation for and on behalf of the company as may be so expected or desired including the cyber, IPR and other laws so as to not to in any manner prejudice the rights and interests of the company. You will not, unless specifically authorized by your superior officer in writing, give any interview in any newspaper, magazine or write to press or media (print or electronic).
  12. Short Employment: Any employee not completing the starting twenty five days of employment will not be entitled for any Salary. The time-period will be seen as Training time without pay/stipend.
  13. Monthly Salary Credit: The Monthly Salaries will be credited on the 25th of the succeeding month.
  14. Full and Final Settlement: F and F Settlement process will take at least 60 days to complete from the day in which employee has completed all Exit Policy formalities. Exit Policy formalities includes total work handover to the reporting authority, clearing all dues, Handing over all office property to the reporting authority, etc.
  15. All employees must fill “Police Verification/ Clearance Form” as a mandatory requirement.
  16. All employees will submit “Original Documents” of all qualifications & work experience mentioned in the resume for verification purposes.
  17. General: You will be governed under the Indian law as per the company rules and regulations. During your employment with the Company, you will be governed by the service rules and regulations of the Company in force or as introduced or amended from time to time. You will also, be governed by the Company’s policies and rules regarding Leave, Relieving Letter, Travel Assistance, Notice period, Misconduct, Discipline, Transfer, etc. In event of any conduct by employee that company, in its sole opinion, deems to be a violation or threatened violation of this agreement, company shall be entitled to in juncture and other equitable relief because such conduct, if not restrained, would result in irreparable harm to company for which damages would not be an adequate remedy. For any dispute between the parties, the jurisdiction shall be fixed at New Delhi.
