Adaptive course path and personalized learning
All our CAT coaching courses follow an adaptive course path. We don’t only customize the course, we personalize the learning experience for every student.
Evaluate & Design model
Every course is split into four phases and adapts to your performance in the evaluation tests, so you reach your optimal level.
Four-phase course structure
The mapping phase starts with a profile evaluation and an IQ-based Mapping Test that places you in one of five groups. The foundation phase covers the basics of all four sections, with weekly tests that adjust your path. The testing phase brings computer adaptive, computer based and paper based tests. The control phase closes any remaining gaps.
Five groups, small batches
The five groups, called series, run from 6 to 10. The 6-series moves slowest with more concept-based classes, and higher series move faster with more application and practice. Batches are kept small so teachers can help you individually.
Weekly course correction
The panel head reviews your weekly test performance and decides your next course path. In the testing phase, tests reach your portal one at a time, and each result sets the difficulty of the next.
Ability-based model
Your ability, not the clock, decides when the course ends. If you haven’t reached your optimal level, the course repeats. One cycle is about 3.5 months for CAT.

Every course runs in four phases, each designed to feel as personal as one-on-one instruction.

Mapping Phase
