The GMAT Focus Edition is the modern, streamlined version of the premier business school entrance exam. Re-engineered for efficiency, the exam is only 2 hours and 15 minutes long and allows you to complete the sections in any order you choose.
The test consists of three 45-minute sections that contribute equally to your Total Score (Scale: 205β805):
Arithmetic and algebra. No geometry.
Reading comprehension and critical reasoning. No sentence correction.
Multi-source reasoning, table analysis and graphics. Calculator allowed.
This edition prioritizes the higher-order reasoning skills essential for business school, removing the essay and grammar requirements. It also introduces a "Question Review" tool, allowing you to bookmark and edit up to three answers per section, giving you greater control over your performance.

Every GMAT course, regular or customised, is built the same way.
All phases are designed to feel as personalised as one-on-one instruction.
Every course is divided into four phases:
(One-on-One Stage)
This phase comes first and usually takes 2-4 sessions. GMAT instructors analyse every student in the batch through interaction and the Mapping Test. This step takes about 10% of total course time.
(Batch Stage)
Covers the basics of all three GMAT Focus sections: Quantitative, Verbal and Data Insights. This phase is around 20-50% of the whole course.
(One-on-One Stage)
Full-length Computer-Adaptive GMAT Focus mocks and sectional tests. Every course carries a βMinimum Testsβ commitment, the minimum number of tests a student must attempt to complete the course.
(One-on-One Stage)
The last phase looks into any remaining gaps in test preparation before your exam date.
2 hours 15 minutes. Three 45-minute sections. Score range: 205β805.
Arithmetic and algebra. No geometry.
Reading comprehension and critical reasoning. No sentence correction.
Multi-source reasoning, table analysis and graphics. Calculator allowed.
A small class of 25 students for individual attention and deeper engagement. Students are selected on merit through an admission test. You have to apply for a seat.
Admission through Entrance Mapping Test: Admission in the +720 Apex-25 batch is by entrance test. Seats are limited, so selection is based on academic and test performance. The Mapping Test is an IQ-based test that places students into five percentile-based groups.
The Entrance Mapping Test measures aptitude, not learned knowledge, so no preparation is necessary.
5-Levels Percentile-Based Batches: Students are placed in one of five batch Series, from 6-Series to 10-Series, based on their Mapping Test performance. This allows tailored instruction and personalised support within each batch.
Adaptive Learning Pedagogy: Lower Series focus on building fundamentals. As the Series rises, the focus shifts to applying concepts in complex scenarios and rigorous GMAT-level practice.
Weekly Evaluation Tests for Batch Upgradation: Take the Weekly Evaluation Test and move to a higher-level batch based on your performance.
Fee Refund Promise: Apex-25 comes with a +720 or fee refund promise. Read the full terms on the Money-Back Promise page before you enroll.
Batch Size: Apex-25 batches average 25 students, whereas Elite batches average 150 students.
Class Interaction: Highly interactive classes where students have audio, video, writing and chat controls.
Class Options: Classroom, live online and hybrid modes.
Course Validity: Apex-25 batches come with lifetime validity, so you can retake the course as many times as you want at no extra fee.
